Artist Statement
My art has always been a way for me to find order in this chaotic world, to reveal something unique, and to bring people to a higher level of understanding.
I learned at an early age, by trial and error, to be resourceful. By developing curiosity and questioning how things work, I observed patterns and potentials to uncover their aesthetic relationships. This has become part of my artistic process. By letting go of all preconceptions, I trust myself to explore concepts and forms without limitations. This allows me to evoke an inner understanding and to apply that truth through an intuitive process.
I want my art to captivate the viewer and demonstrate that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It may take materials to convey my thoughts, but it’s the spirit that holds the ideas together.

Artist Bio
Jeff is an artist and general contractor based in Western New York. In his profession and art, he works in large and small scales with multiple materials including wood, steel, paint, and others. Jeff holds a BFA in sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). His academic concentration was in wood and steel design.
